We created this Website Privacy Policy (“Policy”) to give you confidence as you visit and use the Site, and to demonstrate our commitment to fair information practices and the protection of privacy. This Policy is only applicable to the Site, and not to any other websites that you may be able to access from the Site, each of which may have data collection and use practices and policies that differ materially from this Policy. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any information we may collect from you in any place other than this website.

1.2. AGREEMENT TO TERMS OF PRIVACY POLICY. All activities in which you may engage on this website are voluntary. You are not required to provide any personal information to us unless you choose to access our “Contact Us” or “Request a Quote” features on this Site which require the information. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy on this website, then you should immediately exit this website and discontinue using the Site. If you do not agree with the terms of our Privacy Policy posted on our website, please do not provide us with personal information, and leave this website. By using the SRI website, you signify that you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. Further, by using the SRI website you consent to the collection of Personal Information and the use of Personal Information, as outlined in this Privacy Policy.

We do not intentionally collect or request personal information from children. To protect their privacy, children under the age of 18 are prohibited from using this Company website.

2. INFORMATION COLLECTION PRACTICES

2.1. WHAT BASIC INFORMATION DOES THE COMPANY COLLECT?

In order for you to access certain SRI website services, including but not limited to, contacting us, requesting a quotation, and other services, we give you the option to provide us with certain information that personally identifies you (“Personal Information”). This Personal Information includes, but is not limited to, the following types of information: names, designation, company/institution name, department, physical and/or mailing addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, personalized comments, and other information.

2.2. WHAT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION DOES COMPANY COLLECT?

No personal information about you is revealed in this process. The Site servers and web hosting provider(s) may also gather anonymous “traffic data” that does not personally identify you, but that some companies find helpful for marketing purposes or for improving the services they offer. SRI does not purposefully collect this information and does not use this information in any way other than for purposes of analyzing and/or improving the functionality and/or operability of the Site.

(b) COOKIES. From time to time, our Site may use the standard “cookies” feature of major browser applications that allows us to store a small piece of data on your computer about your visit to our website. We do not set any personally identifiable information in cookies, nor do we employ any data capture mechanisms on our Site other than cookies. Cookies help us learn which areas of our Site are useful and which areas need improvement. You can choose whether to accept cookies by changing the settings on your browser. However, if you choose to disable this function, your experience at our Site may be diminished and some features may not work as they were intended.

If you wish to disable cookies on our Websites, you should not rely on any ‘Do Not Track’ feature your browser might have.

(d) THIRD PARTY ANALYTICS TOOLS. Our Site may use automated devices and applications operated by third parties, such as Google Analytics, which uses cookies and similar technologies to collect and analyze information about use of the Websites and report on activities and trends. This service may also collect information regarding the use of other websites, apps, and online resources. You can learn about Google’s practices by going to policies.google.com/privacy, and you can opt out of them by downloading the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

(e) GOOGLE ADS/ADWORDS. Our Site may use Google Ads (formerly Google AdWords) in order to draw attention to our products and services with the help of advertising (so-called Google Ads) on external web pages. In relation to the data of the advertising campaigns, we can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are. To do this, we use ad server cookies, from which certain performance metrics such as ads or user clicks can be measured. If you access our website through a Google ad, Google Ads will store a cookie on your device. These cookies allow Google to recognize your internet browser. We do not collect and/or process any personal data as part of this process.
